FERMOR TRAFFIC BRIDGE, PEDESTRIAN UNDERPASS & ASSOCIATED ROADWORKS
Transportation project for the City of Winnipeg
This impressive transportation project, construction of Fermor bridge over the Seine River was built over two construction seasons due to its size and staging complexity.
Expert staging was required to accommodate uninterrupted vehicle and pedestrian traffic during reconstruction of a bridge that spans the Seine River, an underground concrete pedestrian tunnel and a complete rebuild of Fermor from Archibald to the St Anne’s intersection.
The success of this project hinged on developing and executing an intricate construction and staging plan. Subtrade buy-in and constant scrutinizing of the schedule was key to successful and on-time project delivery.
