Tanya Worms, M.Sc., P.Eng

Tanya is a senior project manager at M.D. Steele. Starting in 2017, Tanya works with the project superintendent on every aspect of a project, from developing project schedules to liaising with the owner and consultants to reviewing project safety.

She has almost 20 years of experience as a senior transportation engineer and has been a contract administrator and construction manager for various large, complex bridge, road, rail and airport projects. In her years with M.D. Steele, Tanya has managed major bridge projects with significant coordination of construction activities with subtrades. Her experience also includes development of a laboratory evaluation of hot-poured joint and crack sealants and design of a test protocol to correlate with ongoing field trials.

Tanya is a professional engineer and an active participant with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba’s Committee for Increasing the Participation of Women in Engineering. When not at the office she enjoys travelling and escaping to lake life.
