Kaitlyn Donaghy

Kaitlyn Donaghy has been with M.D. Steele Construction for 5 years, starting as a Safety Coordinator and advancing to Safety Manager in January 2024. With 7 years of experience in the construction industry, Kaitlyn brings her knowledge and dedication to ensure the highest safety standards across all M.D. Steele projects.

Kaitlyn holds several key certifications, including Occupational Health and Safety, various Train-the-Trainer certifications, and she also conducts the COR audits, underscoring her commitment to workplace safety. During her time with M.D. Steele, Kaitlyn has been involved in major projects, including the complex rehabilitation of the St. Andrews Lock and Dam. She now oversees safety on every M.D. Steele project, including the high-activity St. Vital Twin Bridges site.

In her role, Kaitlyn develops and enforces comprehensive safety policies and programs, ensures that all safety equipment is up-to-date, and leads safety training for employees. In 2024, she launched M.D. Steele’s first-ever Annual Safety Days, an event designed to engage and educate site workers on critical safety topics through presentations and expert speakers.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys camping and spending quality time with her kids.
