At M.D. Steele, we know all Canadians have a role in reconciliation. To move forward as a company and a community, we have to invest in people and honour our word. We take great pride in our work with Indigenous communities in Manitoba and beyond.
Our offices are located on Treaty One land which is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.
In our work, we value working with Indigenous communities and ensure Indigenous peoples are part of our team. Over 40% of our field staff and 25% of our office staff are Indigenous peoples. We work to build capacity to expand representation in all areas of our team.
We’re proud of our strength, integrity and our diversity at M.D. Steele. We look forward to a strong future and even greater relationships with Indigenous communities.
